Canaport LNG is constructing a state-of-the-art liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving and regassification terminal in Saint John, New Brunswick. The facility will begin operations in late 2008, becoming the first LNG regassification plant in Canada. We will supply natural gas to Canadian and American markets. Our initial send-out capacity (or, the ability to distribute via pipeline) will be 28 million cubic meters (one billion cubic feet) of natural gas a day.

Canaport LNG is proud to bring safe, clean energy to our Saint John community and beyond. We’re also proud to employ local companies and workforce as we contribute to the continued economic development of our community.
