Human Resources Manager

Looking for a dynamic individual who will be the link between management and employees, ensuring all employment relations and activities run smoothly for our Company to achieve its organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the employee life cycle through the following phases; recruitment process ensuring equal opportunity employment, hiring, onboarding, training and retirement
- Manage a competitive benefits package including periodic reviews to ensure provider and benefits are optimized
- Manage, review and improve employee programs
- Maintain employee records and lead the performance evaluation process
- Manage HR, Compensation and General Services budgets
- Support internal development & mobility, identifying and recommending internal talent
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Process payroll accurately and within required timelines
- Responsible for the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Work with departmental managers to create employee training and development programs
- Act as Facility Manager overseeing quality control over general business operations such as:
- HVAC maintenance & reliability
- General building maintenance including overseeing janitorial staff
- Snow removal
- Vehicle fleet ensuring asset utilization, fuel consumption and reliability
- Plumbing
- Manage associated contracts to ensure adherence to contract terms/conditions
- Participate in a rotational On-Call Emergency Management Schedule
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years previous experience as Human Resources
- Manager with facility management experience
- High level knowledge of safety principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of WorkSafeNB best practices, processes and requirements
- Extensive experience with benefits providers and packages
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
- Be willing to work flexible hours
- Excellent planning and organization skills to effectively manage and coordinate a variety of activities
